Lyrical Triptych Reflection

We were assigned a project that involved pictures and lyrics blended in together to create some type of illustration. The rules of this project were too have 3 separate panels with lyrics to a song, incorporate the lyrics into the theme of the panels and finally make sure the lyrics stand out.

In my assignment I used a song called “No Hook” by Jay-z and the pictures I used were mostly about what the song represented and stood out to me. In the Photoshop I used text, filter, text blending and opacity. 

I created the images by first listening to the song and thinking about what came to mind when I heard some type of lyrics. My whole inspiration came from the realness of the song and how the artist came alive in his own song. All this changed my mood and changed my whole perspective on how the pictures should become.

I think the Photoshop helped a lot. It helped my art come alive and let people see and me my art come alive. I was very successful with this assignment and I liked Photoshop so far. If I can do the assignment over I wouldn’t do anything to change I believe everything came out perfect.
